These terms govern the services Marquee Reputation provides. Marquee Reputation is a sole proprietorship operated by Jeffrey Schaeffer, 514 Windsor Street, Whitehall, PA 18052. Paying for a plan means agreeing to what follows. Where a client has signed a separate written service agreement, that agreement controls if the two ever conflict.
1. What the service is
Marquee Reputation builds and runs a Google review system for a local business. Depending on the plan, that includes:
- A branded review page and review link built for the business.
- Physical and digital capture points installed at the location, and a training session for staff.
- A consistent review request process, with automated follow-up where the plan includes it.
- Written responses to reviews the business receives, specific to each review and never templated.
- A monthly one-page report covering new reviews, rating trend, response activity, and competitor comparison.
Install is completed within 10 business days of the start date and the client granting profile access.
2. Plans and pricing
| Plan | Price |
|---|---|
| START | $149 / month |
| GROW | $299 / month |
| DOMINATE | $599 / month |
| One-time install | $99 – $299, by plan, sometimes waived |
Plan contents are as published on this website. If published plans change, a client keeps the terms in effect on their start date until they agree otherwise in writing. Price changes require 30 days' written notice and never apply retroactively.
3. What the client provides
- Access. Manager-level access to the Google Business Profile. The service cannot be performed without it. Revoking access ends Marquee Reputation's ability to perform and is treated as notice of cancellation.
- The ask, in person. Staff will offer the review request to customers as trained. This is the one part that cannot be done for them, and results depend on it.
- A point of contact who can answer questions within two business days.
4. The Marquee Standard — how reviews are collected
This section binds both parties. It exists to keep the client compliant.
- Every customer receives the same review request. No sentiment routing, no screening questions, no filtering — at any stage.
- No incentives of any kind are offered in exchange for a review. No discounts, gifts, entries, or credits.
- No staff quotas or per-review bonuses. If staff are rewarded at all, it is for making the ask — never for review count or star rating.
- Neither party writes, drafts, scripts, or suggests the content of a customer's review. Not Marquee Reputation, not the client, not the client's staff, friends, family, or contractors.
- Any private feedback option is offered to every customer equally, with the same prominence.
5. The 30-day guarantee
If a client does not receive more Google reviews in their first 30 days of active service than they received in the 30 days immediately before their start date, the first month's subscription fee is refunded in full and the client keeps everything installed.
Counting is done from the client's public Google Business Profile on the start date and again on day 30. The install fee is not refundable, as that work is delivered. The guarantee applies once, to the first 30 days, and requires that the client granted profile access and made the ask as trained.
6. Billing
- Month to month. No minimum term, no annual renewal.
- The subscription fee is charged on the start date and on the same date each month thereafter, to the payment method provided at checkout.
- The install fee is charged once, at the start.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Marquee Reputation never sees or stores full card or bank account numbers.
- Partial months are not pro-rated and past months are not refunded, except under the 30-day guarantee above.
- If a payment fails, the card is retried automatically and the client is emailed. Service may be paused if a payment remains unresolved.
7. Cancellation
Either party may cancel by email with 30 days' notice. Service continues and is billed through the end of that 30-day period. Cancellation notice goes to jeff@marqueereputation.com. Everything installed stays with the client.
8. Ownership
- The client owns their Google Business Profile, their reviews, their customer relationships, and their business data. Full stop.
- The client owns the branded review page content and any photos or video produced for them under a content plan, upon payment for the period in which it was produced.
- Marquee Reputation retains ownership of its own systems, templates, processes, and reporting formats.
- Marquee Reputation may reference a client's business name and publicly visible results as a reference or case study. A client may opt out of this at any time by email.
9. Confidentiality
Account access, customer information, and non-public business data are treated as confidential, used only to perform the service, and never sold or shared. Access is returned or revoked on termination.
10. What is not promised
No specific star rating, review count, search ranking, call volume, or revenue outcome is guaranteed, except the 30-day guarantee in Section 5. Google controls its own platform, policies, and ranking systems and may change them at any time. Reviews come from a client's own customers and reflect that client's actual service.
11. Liability
Marquee Reputation's total liability is limited to the amount the client paid in the three months preceding a claim. Neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential damages.
12. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. They are the entire agreement between the parties absent a separate signed service agreement, and replace any prior discussions. Changes must be in writing. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
